TripleA Smart
The TripleA Smart is an ultra-compact buffer system that operates entirely within the footprint of a standard Euro-pallet. This allows it to be integrated directly with existing machinery without the need for facility modifications.
Versatile handling: The system is designed to be platform-independent. It automatically processes not only standardized small load carriers (SLC) in a wide range of dimensions, but also cardboard boxes and custom, application-specific containers. It can handle any type of content – from stamped, bent, injection-molded, or die-cast parts to small sub-assemblies or fully assembled components.
Scalable storage capacity: Storage capacity adapts dynamically based on the type of packaging used. Large-volume units (for example, up to 7 containers with maximum dimensions of 600 x 400 x 420 mm) can be stored and retrieved with the same precision as larger quantities of shallower SLC or stacked cardboard boxes.
Quality assurance: Before items are stored, process reliability is ensured through TripleA Select (for sprue/gate removal) and the optional TripleA Check inspection system. This guarantees that only 100% verified, conforming parts enter the storage containers.
Intelligent dispensing: At the destination—such as a feed unit for automated assembly machinery—the TripleA Smart can dispense filled containers in a specific orientation and at a controlled rate.
The TripleA Smart can be transported by an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) or automated guided vehicle (AGV) using a “piggyback” method. This makes the system mobile and allows it to take on various additional intralogistics tasks.

The TripleA Family
The TripleA product family eliminates rigid media requirements and time-consuming manual handling of containers by reliably buffering and stacking a wide variety of SLCs (small load carriers) and cardboard boxes directly at the machine—fully automating the process for subsequent removal by autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).
Furthermore, components can undergo 100% inspection directly within the manufacturing process. For injection-molded and die-cast parts, we have developed TripleA Select for sprue/gate separation, as well as an optional inspection system called TripleA Check.
This seamless intralogistics integration enables facilities to achieve true, 24/7 unmanned autonomy. It eliminates labor costs associated with non-productive handling tasks or night shifts, while drastically reducing unit costs and maximizing overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
